"Marley & Me"
Honey and I decided we wanted to see this movie. I had read the book and thought it was really good...even passed it along to several friends.
The movie is a bit slow but gave some pretty good laughs in the beginning. We could kind of relate to Marley since our Jack is (or I should say was) a bit similar to Marley. Jack could take out a bag of food in 10 seconds flat if allowed. We would put his bowl food down and he would literally inhale it in about 3 seconds. As he has gotten older he has slowed down a little. We still have to seperate the dogs so that Sonny can eat his food in peace. If Sonny even acts like he is going to walk away for a rest Jack will jump right in and finish it for him.
Back to the movie. The end...oh my goodness...it is a 3 hanky ending. Honey and I almost got up and left. We saw what was coming but there we stayed...clued to our chairs, crying our eyes out. Made us come home and hug our boys as tight as we could. I'm not sure I would recommend this movie. It was cute, but slow and just too sad. I would highly recommend the book.

Hate Hate the grocery store.
Just got home from the grocery store. Spent $250.00. It is expensive to plan meals out for the week and try to eat healthy. The good news I have been doing this since the first of the year and Honey's blood sugar has come down quite a bit. I am very excited about that. We have also been hitting the gym at least 3 times a week which makes us feel much better.
I have been following some meals out of the "Flat Belly Diet" Cookbook. Most of the meals I have prepared have been pretty tasty so far. Some are quick and easy and some are quite time consuming. They even have some tasty dark chocolate recipes...yum, yum. I am a total sweet fanatic.
If it makes us a bit healthier I will try to keep this up but man do I hate the grocery store.

Thank you Nicole!
I haven't posted in a while since my previous blog went crazy on me and I could not get into my own blog. Nic (http://chroniclesofni.blogspot.com) was kind enough to set up a new blog sight for me and is holding my hand through getting things posted. THANK YOU NICOLE...I love it! You are a good friend. I hope not to be too much of a pain with tons of questions.
